Honiton Learning Community has published a list of activities taking place during the October half-term 2013.

This is not a comprehensive list so do check their website for info on childcare, children’s services, and other activity providers.

  • Honiton Leisure Centre – SportsMix Day Camps: sports, arts & crafts. 9.30 am – 5.00pm (half days available) Full day from £10 - £20. Early drop off available at 8.30am.
  • Honiton Swimming Pool – Fun Splash: Mon – Fri 2pm – 3pm. Courses available. Prices vary
  • Honiton Pottery Shop – all ages. Ceramic painting from £6.50, inc studio time, painting, glazing & firing. Also potter’s wheel from £8.50. Good idea to book.
  • The Donkey Sanctuary – Children’s Activities, no booking required. Tue 29th – Spider Day 10am, donations. Wed 30th
  • Escot Park, entry fee applies. Tue 29th Bat Boxes 10.30am–4pm £5. Wed 30th Halloween decorations 10.30am–4pm. Fri 1st Nov, Fright Night, booking & fancy dress essential. 5.30pm £7pp
  • East Devon Countryside Service, Tue 29th & Wed 30th Oct ‘Pumpkins & Spooky Stories’ – Axe Estuary Wetlands: Classroom – 6pm – 8pm £5 per pumpkin includes hot chocolate.

  • Exeter City Football in the Community, Soccer Road Show Wed 30th & Thur 31st Oct at Feniton. Price: £27 Age: 5 – 14, Course times: 10 am – 3pm. 10% discount for 2 or more siblings booked for both days.
  • Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Family Drop-In Activity, Paper Lace Jewellery – Tue 29th 11am–4pm. Suitable for over 6yrs. Make brooches, fascinators and bangles. Suggested donations of £2

  • All Hallows Museum entry is FREE in October. Quiz sheets with prizes, lace making. Opening times 9.30am–15.30pm.
  • ‘Annie’ Tue 29th Oct – Sat 2 Nov. 7pm and Sat matinee 2pm. Tickets £10-£14
  • Ghostly goings on at Pecorama, Beer. Ghost train ride, daily show and children in fancy dress get a prize. For prices see website. New Indoor play area!
