Community Transport

TRIP Community Transport is a registered charity providing transport solutions and advice to rurally isolated people of all ages, older people, the infirm and the disabled. We cover a wide area of East Devon, centred on Honiton but extending to include Sidmouth, Seaton, Lyme Regis, Ottery St Mary, Dunkeswell, Broadhembury, Offwell, Stockland & Whimple. Services provided include:

1. Voluntary Cars taking people to medical appointments throughout the area as well as further afield to Exeter, Plymouth & Bristol.
2. Ring & Ride service- a door-to-door, fully accessible, minibus service that covers all our areas at least once per week and takes people out for shopping and to places of interest during the week and at weekends.
3. Our smaller accessible vehicles are available for wheelchair friendly transport to daycare, medical and social appointments.
4. We operate a manual & powered wheelchair & scooter hire service for people coming into Honiton.
5. Sales of aids for daily living- we stock a wide range of items to make life easier for people with life limiting conditions. We also accept NHS Devon prescriptions for disability aids.
6. We take bookings for patient transport by ambulance to medical appointments at local & district hospitals
7. We stock public transport timetables for a large area of Devon

As a charity we operate on a not-for-profit basis and aim to provide solutions rather than create issues for people who need our help.
