Honiton Cricket Club
Honiton Cricket Club are a family orientated club that caters for players of all age, ability & aspiration. From competitive league Cricket to entertaining touring teams, Honiton CC will meet your requirements. We always welcome new members particularly umpires & scorers.
Honiton CC have two adult teams that play in the D Division East of the Devon Cricket League. Sundays are set aside for friendlies and touring teams and there are various events each season for pub & club games.
Honiton will have three youth age groups in 2007 - under-12's, under-13's & under-15's.
Our strength is the sense of fun with many events throughout the year.
Honiton CC has an excellent relationship with Somerset CCC and in the past six years we have supported the Somerset Beneficiaries - namely Peter Bowler, Rob Turner, Keith Parsons, Mike Burns and Richard Johnson. This has seen the likes of Ian Blackwell, Marcus Trescothick & Andrew Caddick play in our town.
In the past two seasons Honiton CC has toured Guernsey in 2005 and Belfast in 2006. It is likely that the 2007 tour will be to Brittany in France - more details to be confirmed.
We have a clubhouse with fully licensed bar that is open all day for Saturday & Sunday matches. We also serve BBQ food after most games.
