Small family run retail music shop based in east Devon. The shop is run by Andy Cable, a guitarist with 30 years playing experience. Andy is a fully trained guitar technician and able to offer repairs, servicing, set ups and custom alterations to just about all makes of guitar.
We have a qualified amplifier repair technician who is also a specialist in old valve amps and vintage equipment. We also have access to a qualified speaker repair engineer. We aim to provide friendly, helpful advice and service with next day delivery and credit/debit cards accepted over the telephone.

Approximate Music is now specialising in Drums and Percussion for beginners and professionals.
We always hold stock in student kits in both 'Rock' and 'Fusion' sizes (various colour options) as well as a selection of more advanced kits, along with a range of Cymbals. We often have second hand Drums and Cymbals, and we gladly accept part-exchange on certain items.
All our kits are supplied ready assembled and tuned i.e you will not be given a box with separate shells, hoops, fittings, heads and a bag of nuts and bolts; unlike most mail-order suppliers. We can also arrange free delivery within our local area.
We carry good stocks of Replacement Heads, Sticks, Cases, Stands, Pedals, Stools, Practise Pads, and various Add-On Bits, plus a small selection of Books/CDs/DVDs.
