The Government has decided to crack down on drivers using mobile phones.
The old on the spot fine of £30 will be doubled to a £60 fine plus 3 points on your licence or a fine of up to £1,000 if the offender goes to court (£2,500 for drivers of goods vehicles or passenger carrying vehicles with 9 or more passenger seats)
