The Turk’s Head Lodge is a friendly and welcoming 13 room hotel situated only a short distance from Honiton town centre, offering excellent facilities and a relaxed environment along with “ice” skating, function rooms, café and bar.

As well as chalet style accommodation, we provide a quality, cost effective venue for parties and celebrations of all types. Our main function room can accommodate up to 200 people and our smaller adjacent room up to 30 people. These rooms are available for hire along with our excellent catering service and are ideal for functions big or small, from one-off special events such as regular business meetings as well as classes, auctions, corporate functions, charity shows, sporting events and much more.

Our main function room is mainly used as an indoor synthetic “ice” skating rink, having plenty of seating around the edge for refreshments (but is still available as an ideal space for other functions).

Come and enjoy this challenging and energetic activity (or relax and watch with a meal and a drink). If you’re a keen skater or always wanted to try ice skating but never had the chance, or if you and your friends are just looking for something different to do, come and give it a whirl! We even have toddler size skates so bring the whole family along!

During the school holidays the “ice” skating rink is open from 10am till 7pm Monday – Saturday and from 10am till 5pm on Sundays. During term time, the rink is open from 4pm till 7pm Monday to Friday, 10am – 7pm on Saturdays and 10am – 5pm on Sundays and it can be hired during the day Monday to Friday or after 7pm for private parties. Our smaller function room is ideal as a private party room for party food and entertainment, if you are considering an “ice” skating party and would like a private room for your meal.

The Lodge Café and two Bars are open from 7.30 am till 7pm from Monday to Saturday and 7.30am till 4pm on Sundays. Make sure you check our board for a selection of home cooked daily specials. A children's menu is available and if you have any special food requirements please ask and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The Lodge Bars are fully licensed to serve a selection of bottled beers, wines and spirits.

Meals are available Mon – Sat from 7.30 am till 7pm and 7:30am till 4pm on Sundays (including our very popular Carvery on Sundays from 12pm till 3pm). An evening menu is available for party bookings after 7pm (please phone for information). Our “all day” breakfast is available until 5pm and light meals are available until 7pm.
