SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION - DUNKESWELL HONITON DEVON Beech Cottage has been recently converted to a high standard with full central heating.
The well equipped kitchen /diner contains a Microwave, hob and oven, built in fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. From the kitchen leads into a good sized beamed sitting room and a separate WC with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room is equipped with TV,DVD and CD player with access through French windows to a lit patio area exclusively for Beech cottage guests where you can sit and relax around a table and chairs during the day or evening, ideal for a relaxing coffee or BBQ with a chimenea in the evening.
An open tread wooden staircase leads upstairs, where all areas have wooden floorboards, to two bedrooms, one large twin and one double and a separate bathroom with bath, WC and separate shower.
The cottage guests have access to a full sized hard tennis court on the property Located in an idyllic, quiet setting in the Blackdown Hills, Beech Cottage is not part of a complex therefore private, yet easily accessible, being only 5 miles from the historic market town of Honiton. Ideally positioned to explore Devon and Somerset for walking, cycling or simply a quiet weekend away from the bustle of city life.

The cottage is rated 4 star by Visit Britain. Equipped to a high standard, with its own patio area for alfresco dining with a chimenea to keep warm and bbq. Full size hard tennis court for use by guests. Welcome hamper provided. Egyptian cotton bed linen and luxury bath sheets provided.

Honiton is renowned for the many antique shops, good traditional butchers who source their meat from local farmers, bakers and many other independent shops. The Jurassic Coast is not far away, the seaside villages of Beer and Branscombe are only a 35 minute drive away and the Regency town of Sidmouth just 30 minutes by car.
The village of Dunkeswell is a 10 minute walk away with a well stocked Spar, pub, hairdresser and local doctors surgery.

There is a network of footpaths in the area, the nearest being 2 minutes walk from the cottage, giving the visitor ample opportunity to experience the wonderful scenery of the Blackdown Hills.
