Your Holiday at Oakdown Touring Park starts with a warm welcome from the friendly resident wardens, whose total aim is to help you enjoy your stay and ensure that your holiday runs smoothly. Great care is taken in allocating pitches to satisfy all needs but please remember to book early if you have any particular requirements.
Oakdown has long been known as a retreat for discerning country lovers.
Set amidst the spectacular coast and countryside of the "Jurassic Coast"
World Heritage Site and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the beautiful Weston Valley and much of the coastal path are National Trust property. The area abounds with a wealth of wildlife, quiet beaches, history and geology which the discriminating visitor can explore from this ideal holiday base.
We welcome touring guests with Touring Caravans, Motor Caravans, Tents and Trailer Tents who have a choice of either a serviced pitch or a fully serviced 'super' pitch. We also have Caravan Holiday Homes to let and some that are privately owned.
If you're wanting a luxurious base from which to enjoy the delights of glorious Devon, then Oakdown beckons. We have sixteen Rose award, all electric (with FREE electricity!) Caravan Holiday Homes adjacent to the touring park. For everyone's safety and ease of use, all Caravan Holiday Homes are all electric, double glazed, centrally heated and luxuriously fitted to a very high standard. Remember - FREE electricity!
Landscaped into groves with thousands of trees and shrubs, Oakdowns pitches are level, closely mown, very generous in size with parking by your unit. All have electric hook-ups and three 'Groves' have self contained 'super pitches', each serviced with water, electric hook-up and drainage.

Oak Mead Family Golf and Recreation Area is immediately opposite Oakdown to the west - the meadow which has the Field Trail leading to the Donkey Sanctuary on its northern boundary and our Victorian Reed Bed and Bird Hide in the south west corner. Oak Mead has been planned from the very start as a family attraction and will be opening for all to enjoy during the summer. The course is a 9 hole par 3 and 748 yards long. Oak Mead Now has its own Cafe!
