Scrolling through the Honiton Twitter feed recently I can see that there is a lot going on from the ladies golf team celebrating to the upcoming artificial grass demonstration at MKM Honiton on the 21st there is something for everyone. But today I am going to focus on the Honiton spring fair taking place on the 22nd April.

The fair will be held in the Thelma Hulbert Gallery gardens and the Toast Café, with a selection of artisans and crafty folk (that is people skilled in craft, rather than the artful dodger and his crew). The fairs organisers hope to create the feel of a ‘vibrant flea market’ and visitors can expect to see independent stalls selling textiles, jewellery, glasswork and more. In addition the afternoon will feature a family show from the Exeter Paddleboat Theatre Company – not to be missed this will include mime, puppetry and music suitable for the whole family.

Festivities begin at 10am and aim to run up until 5pm so there is plenty of time for a leisurely stroll to take in the gardens, the gallery and the ambience; and possibly come home with some interesting and unique souvenirs.
