Sporting Chance are holding more of their sports courses during this years school summer holidays.

The courses are for boys and girls aged 4 - 13 of any ability and run from 9am to 4pm each day. Everyone involved will receive a prize and discounts are available for 2nd and 3rd children.

Honiton Charter Day 2014

The annual Honiton Market Charter Day takes place again this year on Saturday 26th July. The event will be commemorating the 750th anniversary of the signing of the market charter!

A number of events will be taking place as well many shops being decorated and people dressing in period costumes.

Some of the events taking place include:

  • Traditional Market in the High Street

  • 9.00am - 4.00pm
  • Charity Market on Northcote Lane

  • From 9.30am
  • Lace making demonstrations in Allhallows Museum

  • From 10.00am
  • St Paul’s Church Bell Tower open to the public with bell ringing demonstrations

  • 10.am - 2.00pm
  • Entertainment at St Paul’s Church forecourt and Baptist Church

  • 7.00pm
  • Honiton Town Band concert at the Millenium Green

The Honiton Lions will be holding their Classic Car Show on Allhallows from 10.00am to 4.00pm. This will be their 5th car show!

Children’s Festival

At Sidmouth Folk Week, 1st – 8th Aug, daily events based at Blackmore Gardens, workshops, craft sessions, showcases and dance displays. Family evening shows and 60th anniversary celebration this year.

Ferne Animal Sanctuary – 8miles from Honiton, signposted from A30. Annual admission charge £2 adult, £1 child. 10am–5pm, 7 days a week. 300 animals, nature trail, play areas.
