The show "where farming comes first", Honiton Agricultural Show will take place on Thursday 3rd August 2017.

With the 127th show being held this year, the show is held on the first thursday in August and is now one of the largest one day agricultural shows in the country.

Focused on all things agricultural, Honiton Show showcases the best in local farming as well as produce rural skills and crafts. The show is held by the Honiton and District Agricultural Association, a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The Association has over 500 members and stages this annual agricultural show in order to raise support in the agriculture and its related industries. The association also makes donations to a wide range of agricultural and educational causes locally.

With more that 1000 livestock entries and over 400 trade exhibitors to fill the 140 acre site, the Honiton Show is one of the largest events of its kind in East Devon and expects to see more that 20,000 visitors.

The show plays host to "The West of England Hound Show" which as the second largest in the country attracts packs from throughout the UK.

The Main ring is a hubbub of activity with a variety of different activities to suit all ages.

See the UK's No.1 motorcycle display teams "Bolddog Lings Freestyle Motocross Team" perform in the Main Ring and watch the Grand Parade where the shows livestock winners are proudly shown.

Watch Camel Racing and why not meet them afterwards to learn more about the marvelous animals. There will also be acts from the Ridgeside Lurcher Display!

Why not see the humorous and educational 'The Sheep Show' with its 9 breeds, sheep shearing and dancing sheep!

Two aerobatic displays will be held by Viper Aerobatics will also provide an exciting addition to the shows activities.

  • Nearly 100 vehicle strong vintage tractor display
  • The blacksmiths guild
  • Dog show with both pedigree and family fun classes
  • Over 400 trade stands including the home and craft marquee, shopping and food halls

The Honiton Agricultural Show prides itself on its heritage as a traditional show that also beautifully merges the old with the new.

This event is one for the diary and definitely not to be missed.
